Teaching

In his role as a lecturer, Peter teaches on a wide range of courses as summarised below

• He is part of a team that runs a course on Scientific Geocomputing. Taught subjects include: General and geo-computing with python, Database Management using SQL and web development (front and backend).
• Peter is involved in a course on Spatial Analysis and Systems Modelling. The subjects covered include: Spatial Analysis, Systems Modelling, Agent based Modelling.
• Peter coordinates, teaches and develops material for vocational courses, : (i) Geoweb App (front and backend) Development using open source tools; (ii) Principles of (geo)visualisation; (iii) and Geoinformatics
• He is also involved in a course on Academic Skills for postgraduate, and has done similar work for undergraduate students in the past.
