About Peter

Peter is a Geospatial Data Scientist with a passion for unlocking the hidden insights within data, transforming them into actionable strategies for the success of projects and businesses. He holds a PhD in Physical Geography and MSc in Geographical Information Sciences from The University of Manchester and is a two time recipient of the IPCC scholarships. Until recently, he worked as a teacher and researcher in the Geo-Information Processing department - ITC (Faculty of Geoinformation Sciences and Earth Observation) at the University of Twente.

Peter’s work focusses on the domains of data science, geoinformatics and geo-visualisation (dissemination and communication). He has applied his expertise to undertake research on a wide range of topics, namely: sensor technology; biodiversity; urban ecology; and sustainability. He has published some of this work and reviewed for renown journals in these fields. Peter is always keen to engage with stakeholders and work in multi-disciplinary teams.
